本单元主要从鲁宾逊漂流记的三篇译文出发,为我们详细讲解了关于翻译的几个必须注意的重要观点。这些需要注意的地方将会成为现在或将来出现在我们翻译中的问题,仔细阅读会对我们今后的翻译起到不可估量的作用。
其一是关于漏译问题的举例说明,在三版鲁宾逊漂流记译文中,对in the offing在第二和第三篇中都出现了漏译的现象。即将到来的意思在翻译中被疏漏掉了。由此可见,在我们对文章的翻译中,我们应该对所做出的翻译仔细检查,反复考量,本着一丝不苟的理念来对待每一个出现在我们面前的翻译要点。其二,关于翻译中语序的问题,由于在翻译中复合句以及各种复杂句的原因,在我们翻译的同时我们要特别注意语序的重要性。很多句子要在上下文的理解中排列出合理并且让人容易理解的语序,这样才能做到翻译的正确与流畅。其三是关于引号中句子部分的强调作用,语言在强调时的翻译要切近原意,类似the noun to which a relative pronoun refers is called the "antecedent" of the pronun.这句话的翻译是关系代词所指代的名词叫做关系代词的“先行词”。这个译文中将先行词方在句子的最末,起到了原文中先要强调的作用。其三点式关于破折号的作用,破折号的作用在于揭示说明,所以在翻译时要对其做好解释,并且注意语序的作用。最后是关于括号里面翻译的注意事项,在翻译时要明白其真实的含义,并且尽量做到精确。
最后对于这一单元我所了解到的做个总结,在翻译的学习中除了细心注意外还要真的明白如何去翻译,各种符号与句子怎样才能精确的翻译是我们必须在日常训练中要做好的细节,只有明白了,并且掌握了这一切的规则,翻译才能真正的更上一层楼.
